We are looking for a passionate Fresh Produce Manager to lead Thailand's best platform for high-quality fresh produce & perishables 🥬

This role manages 1) operations at our distribution center in Soi Pridi Banomyong, and 2) will be responsible for planning, training, and managing the fresh produce operation at our upcoming physical store.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced leader to drive a new, better kind of produce section that is highly unique in the market - a curated offering with better packaging, storage, and merchandising practices.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the overall P&L of our fresh produce operation: Maximizing in-stocks while minimizing shrinkage & other costs
• Purchasing: Taking care of routine purchasing and supplier QC credit claims
• Supervising daily warehouse & physical store operations: Managing the team to hit our performance goals; improving SOPs for receiving, QC, stock adjustments, packaging and merchandising
• Merchandising: Planning which products we will carry by working with our supplier farms based on seasonality & availability, and managing display merchandising at our physical store.
• Sourcing new suppliers & products that meet our sourcing standards
• Reporting to CEO on performance & product pipeline for our fresh produce & perishables section

You have:

• Passion for curating & selling the best quality produce! And you like to work with the Thai farms who grow it - building win-win relationships for the long term 👩🏻‍🌾🥬
• Strong experience and knowledge of a tightly-managed fresh produce retail operation
• An existing network & market knowledge of Thai organic farms & markets is a big plus
• Leadership & communication skills - you are energized by working with a great internal team and external partners to build the best fresh produce operation in Thailand

Location & hours:

• Working hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. This role will often require early mornings for effective management of our fresh produce section.
